Vouchers we issue go straight to your account. This page explains where to find them, how to use one, and what the small print on a voucher actually means.
Redeeming
Three steps
Applying a voucher takes a few seconds, and you see the effect before you commit to anything.
Find the code
It is in your account under Vouchers, or in the email we sent you.
Enter it in your basket
There is a voucher box under the order summary. Paste the code and press Apply.
Check the summary
The discount appears as its own line. If the code cannot be used, the basket tells you exactly why.
The small print, in plain words
What the conditions on a voucher mean
A voucher can carry any of these. Whichever apply to yours are listed with it in your account.
- Minimum spend
- Your basket has to reach a value before the voucher applies. The figure is shown excluding VAT.
- Maximum discount
- A cap on what a percentage voucher can take off, however large the basket.
- Expiry date
- The last date it can be used. After that the basket will say it has expired.
- Usage limit
- How many times the voucher can be used in total, across all customers.
- Per-customer limit
- How many times you personally can use it. Usually once.
- Product or category restriction
- It only discounts the qualifying items, not the whole basket.
- Account restriction
- Some vouchers are issued to one customer or one account type and will not work on another.
- Combinability
- Whether it can be used alongside a discount already on your basket.
A note on voucher codes
We never publish voucher codes on this website, and we will never ask you for a code by email or over the phone. If you receive a message offering a Romanys code that did not come from your account, let us know.
Codes are generated individually and checked on our server every time one is entered. Repeated attempts to guess a code are rate limited, which is why you may be asked to wait a moment if you have mistyped one several times.

About vouchers
- Where do I find my voucher code?
- In your account, under Vouchers. Any voucher issued to you or to your account type appears there with its code, what it applies to and when it runs out. We never publish codes on the website.
- How do I use one?
- Enter the code in the voucher box in your basket and press Apply. The discount appears immediately as its own line in the summary, so you can see exactly what it took off before you pay.
- My code was not accepted. Why?
- The basket tells you which of these it is: the code was not recognised, it has expired, it has been used the maximum number of times, it is not valid on this account, the basket has not reached the minimum spend, or it does not apply to anything currently in the basket.
- Can I use more than one voucher?
- One voucher per order. Where a voucher cannot be combined with a discount already applied to your basket, the basket says so rather than quietly ignoring one of them.
- Can I use a voucher with my trade pricing?
- It depends on the voucher. Some are set to combine with account pricing and some are not. Your basket will tell you which before you pay.
- Does a voucher work in the shop?
- Vouchers are redeemed through the website basket. If you have one and would rather buy across the counter, bring it up with us and we will sort it out.
